Self Directed IRAs and Mortgage Investing

Self Directed IRAs can invest in just about anything. In fact, there are only three things that are prohibited under current rules... collectibles, life insurance policies and S Corporations.

They can, however, invest in private mortgages! Instead of earning a low 3 to 5% interest on your IRA, consider earning 10 to 15%!!
